As of February 1, 2019, the original volume criteria for TSCs and CSCs applying for certification or recertification will be effective – 15 cases in last 12 mos. (or 30 in last 24 mos.) for any physician on the neuro-interventional call schedule.
And, important to know is as of August 1, 2019, any physician who performs mechanical thrombectomies will be subject to this volume requirement.
